Last month, I shared a Forbes’ article about women small business owners. Women owned businesses are growing. In 1972 there were only 402,000 women-owned businesses. In 2019, there were 12.3 million women-owned businesses and I’m proud to be among that number!

According to the Wall Street Journal, approximately 35% of franchise outlets in the US are women owned and that’s up from 24% a decade ago. However, that was pre-COVID.

Now, more women are being impacted by the pandemic and are having to make the hard choices between climbing the corporate ladder or leaving that behind to take care of family, especially if they have young kids.

There is another option that some women are discovering and that’s franchise business ownership. It has the business operations support and many offer just the flexibility you might need, especially when you also hold the role of primary caregiver.

If you are looking for a new path, one where you can hit the ground running instead of having to build a business from the ground up, let’s discuss what’s possible. There are a variety of franchise businesses that are thriving in 2020. Give me a call today 1-925-642-9976.
