Hello Readers!

I know this sounds a bit repetitive, but every time I attend a FranChoice event I come back so energized by what I learn and the state of the franchise industry that I simply have to share the excitement.

FranChoice brings truly special opportunities to consultants who are matching entrepreneurs with franchises. For starters, I am able to approach criteria searches in three ways. First, I look for gigantic businesses in gigantic industries that will continue to grow in the future. Second, I look for franchisors that have strong, proven systems in place with deep, powerful teams to provide support for their franchisees. Third, I look for businesses with outstanding unit economics, a really strong return on investment. FranChoice gives me this ability.

Many of the companies we saw are experiencing explosive growth. One new company introduced to us at our January conference has now awarded over 280 locations in just six months. That’s unprecedented, and the pace is accelerating. A service-based business provided services to 600 Target stores and 200 Kohl’s stores. Another just completed work for 800 Edward Jones offices.

These are scalable, professional businesses—you are not just buying a job. And the franchise companies are looking for success-minded professionals that want a business that will appreciate exponentially. That’s why these companies are taking steps to make their franchise highly desirable and attractive to people like you.

Franchise companies continue to fine-tune their business models, increasing their average unit volumes, tweaking their space requirements, reducing the time to get open, all while decreasing their expenses. One company just announced that their three franchised brands will now be offering life insurance to not only their franchisees but also all of those employees as well. Some are offering more funding and free pre-qualification options. One is offering $100K in-house financing. Another $400K in funding. Yet another $10K off the franchise fee for veterans, minorities, police and first responders.

There is so much more to share. If you are thinking about becoming a franchise owner and would like answers to your questions, let’s talk. I can show you how to take the first step to your new career.

All the best,

Diane
