I heard the phrase “blessings to all’’ this past weekend as part of the Bracebridge dinner in Yosemite. If you’re not familiar with this event, it’s a spectacular Christmas pageant in the historic Ahwahnee hotel. There was singing and dancing and food. Oh my, the food: seven courses and enough silverware for one person for a week!
As much fun as that was, even more impressive is the grandeur that is Yosemite. Coming into the park, the evergreen trees were laden with snow and it was simply breathtaking. The next day I went for a run and later a hike. With all the recent rain, the falls were gushing. It was a wonderful time away from the hustle and bustle of a too-long Christmas “To Do” list.
Fortunately the words “blessings to all” still echo in my head and that is what I wish for you. I wish you the blessings and support of family, the challenge of meaningful work and new and rewarding opportunities for each new day.
Heartfelt blessings to you!
